'Candles Float Along the Waterway' is a short collection of recordings ranging from 23/08/22 - 22/10/22 that feature one-take spontaneous improvisation and then one-take overdub recordings, without re-listening to the first recorded track. The first aim was to create a duo, or duet, style of improvisation using only two guitar tracks, but in a folk / experimental sense rather than the jazz ideas that it was originally adapted from - to be able to get a 'looping' sense of stream-of-consciousness chord structure without the aid of excessive looping, unless necessary.

The pieces were either performed on a nylon-string electro-acoustic guitar or a clean-tone semi-hollow electric guitar with gold-foil pickups - this placing my head in the opposite direction to my usual single-coil Telecaster sound that I had been forming.

The pieces were also not named, so names have been plucked out and created for them for the context of track listing.
